Oh My It's been awhile
Oh my can't believe how long it's been since I blogged :( will try to get better at this but got lots going on. :) Lets see where to begin. I've been a Grandma since March 3rd of this year. Then in April I had surgery and this month I've started counting calories (that isn't fun at all).
Sierra made her presence know March 3rd that was just awesome words can't describe that. I never want to forget that moment and I hope I get to experience it again but much later on. LOL Can't belive it's been over 3 months now but she is a cutie I call her SweetPea :)
My surgery went great ... still don't think my hormones are right yet ... been told it takes about six months :( but I'm at the stage where I just like being by myself. :( I know that's not good but I've been getting lots of reading done during this time. In fact I tell myself every Saturday night that I'm going to get up the next morning and head to church, but end up in my chair watching the New Spring Webcampus instead ... it can be found at the following link on Sundays at 11:15, 2 and 6 http://www.newspring.cc/webcampus . On a plus note instead of being out of work six weeks I was only out 4 weeks which was great.
Yes I started counting calories on Wednesday, June 17th, and discovered that I'm not eating enough but I was sick that day. So I've been writting down everything including breath mints LOL I'm averaging around 1500+ calories a day and according to the webmd web site I only 1200 calories. Now I did buy a Wii Fit for me and my son and so far I've stuck w/it for 10 straight days. :) I skipped today well except to show my son something so I think I got in 8 minutes but I guess that's better than skipping the whole day.
This weekend was a busy weekend for me ... well it started on Thursday night during the storm. I cleaned the carpet in my sons room, then on Friday I got home and worked on trying to clean the siding, then worked out on the wii for 30 minutes then cleaned the carpet in my living room/dinning room (don't use the dinning room as a dinning room use it for a computer / puzzle area instead. Then on Saturday I went and got groceries and came home was washed the siding out back and then out front ... I still got to clean the windows (but I hate cleaning windows!) I also found time to do the Wii and then I read until bedtime.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!
Last night we (Meagan, Kyle and I) kept Dallas. He belongs to Meagan's aunts friend. It wasn't that bad ... we went to I-Hop and then Dallas went to sleep on the way home. :) Not sure what time he woke up but Kyle got up with him. I heard them in the kitchen so I got up at the same time Meagan was getting up. Decided on oatmeal for his breakfast and that was a site ... wish I could have gotten a video of that. I'm guessing he'd never had oatmeal before, he spit it out then wouldn't let me use the spoon to rake it off his face. LOL He did end up eating the oatmeal though. After his mom came to pick him up Meagan and Kyle left to go home and me and my son got ready to go.
Meagan and Kyle were going to Anderson as were me and my son. They went to the Jockey Lot while me and my son went to Hobby Lobby, Books a Million, and then we met up with them at the Anderson Mall. I did find another all EDGES puzzle, and we found a board we could use to put on the card table so we can work the New York City puzzle we bought a few weeks back. At the book store I found Sierra a book and I found a turtle that's a magnifier. :) (it will come in handy when we work the all EDGE puzzle wish we had of had one with the sports all EDGE puzzle we just finished) At the mall found the little knives I had been hunting for at Christmas but couldn't find so now I'll have them next time I need them. :) Got my son a very expensive hat ... not sure how I got suckered into that but I did tell him I'd buy him a hat guess I should have given him a price limit. (Lesson Learned) Left the mall and I wanted to go in the Lifeway Christian Bookstore and got me the WOW Hits 2009 (Great CD) So now I'm home relaxing watching tv and trying to stay awake. :)

The first picture you see was taken Wednesday night after I finished working on the puzzle and the second one was taken Thursday night. My son did help me put a few pieces together tonight. :) Then he went on to tell me how much of it he had done. LOL

Saw these laying out at my daughters' today and grabbed them so I could get a picture. :) This was what I made her for Christmas 2008. I did these pillowcases and then I did a his and hers set for some friends of mine. Then I did a table runner with snowmen on it for a friend at work.

33 weeks
I stole this picture off of my daughters blog. This is a picture of her belly (duh) at 33 weeks. Looks like to me she still got a long ways to go because she hasn't started dropping yet. Wonder if she could hold out for April???? I'm still sticking with the date I picked but going to get her to take another picture a week or so before then so I can make a final pick. LOL
The baby shower is Saturday and I've got to figure out what I'm going to take to it and what I'm just going to load in the car to take to her house ... I hate to wrap presents.

Belly picture of Sierra
This is a picture of Sierra before her arrival which is still over a month away. I have guessed that she will be here March 11th (her due date is the March 17) and weigh 6.7 pounds and have red hair and brown eyes like her Grandma (I'm going to have Sierra call me ma-ma). Meagan guessed 15 pounds blonde hair and blue eyes. Now she is saying blonde changing to red or red changing to blonde. Meagan's guess for tonight is I don't know. Kyle thinks bigger than 6.7 pounds. I'll post an update later on about this. =)

My Son's Puzzle
This is what my son has been working on and I ended up helping him some tonight. The puzzle is an all edges. Fun Fun ... I had the attitude of him tonight, I quit like he did when he first opened it.

In Memory of Snuggie December 30, 2008
This little guy was my parents life and their baby. It's been very hard on them and my mom is still having a hard time you can't tell it with my dad but I'm sure he's still down under about it too. It was a very sad night is all I can say. My son was very upset about it as well, he had gotten attached to Snuggie when he was staying there after school. He use to be scared of Snuggie cause Snuggie would bite him and attack him when we'd go over there cause you see Snuggie didn't like sudden movements or the hyperness of my son. Snuggie was one of a kind and he will be missed greatly. I don't have anyone to give a treat to now when I go out to my parents house. (Snuggie would get a treat when I'd go in I guess cause I was a good girl. LOL)

Project
This is what I've been working on since after Christmas. This is the 1/2 point and I wanted to get a picture and post it on my blog. What better way to do it than with my new Camera. :) Been looking online at camera's and talking and asking questions and I finally just jumped in head first and bought on. I'll post a finished picture if I don't forget. ha-ha I did some projects at Christmas but forgot to take pictures so I could post them here. Let me tell you I was stressing because I didn't know if I'd finish in time but I did all except my sons and he's got a birthday coming up in March so I may have time to get his done then I can take a picture of it and post it. ;)

When a Friend Betrays (Purpose Driven Life)
Yep you guessed it I'm playing catch up on my emails and came across this one and couldn't help but post it to my blog to share with others. :)
When a Friend Betraysby When a Friend Betrays
He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart and has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman. Psalm 15:2-3 (NIV)
*** *** *** ***Here are three steps toward learning to trust again when a friend betrays:Reveal your hurt to God. Vent your frustrations to God. Tell him about the friend who betrayed your most intimate secret, the family member who broke a promise one too many times, or the co-worker who deliberately worked to make you look bad even while she pretended to be supporting you.God will never be surprised or upset by your anger, your hurt, or your sense of loss over betrayal. You can tell him exactly how you feel, and trust him to understand.Release those who’ve offended you. Forgiveness does not mean you instantly trust your friend again. God teaches us to forgive instantly and for as many times as it takes; however, trust must be rebuilt over time. Trust must be re-earned.Forgiveness doesn’t mean you have to resume the relationship immediately, and it also doesn’t mean you have to resume it without any change. Your friend, or family member, will only be able to rebuild your trust over time as he or she consistently and humbly shows that he or she is “one who lives honestly, practices righteousness, and acknowledges the truth in [his/her] heart – who does not slander with [his/her] tongue, who does not harm [his/her] friend or discredit [his/her] neighbor …” (Psalm 15:2-3 HCSB).Re-focus your life. Don’t let anyone, particularly someone who has betrayed your trust, maintain a grip on your emotions. No doubt you’re feeling angry and hurt, but rather than trying to resist those thoughts, re-direct them. For instance, try to see the situation from God’s perspective, and remember his ability to take things that are hurtful or mean-spirited in our lives and turn them into good. © 2008 Purpose Driven Life. Sharing an email from Purpose Driven Life
Love Is an Actionby Rick Warren
Dear children, let us stop just saying we love each other; let us really show it by our actions. 1 John 3:18 (NLT) *** *** *** ***Love is something you do. Do you really love someone? Let’s see how you act toward that person. You show love by what you do, not just by what you feel.Love is more than attraction and more than arousal. It’s also more than sentimentality, like so many of today’s songs suggest. By this standard, is love dead when the emotion is gone? No, not at all. Because love is an action; love is a behavior.Over and over again, in the Bible, God commands us to love each other. And you can’t command an emotion. If I told you “Be sad!” right now, you couldn’t be sad on cue. Just like an actor, you can fake it, but you’re not wired for your emotions to change on command. Have you ever told a little kid, “Be happy!” I’m trying, daddy! If love were just an emotion, then God couldn’t command it. But love is something you do. It can produce emotion, but love is an action. The Bible says, “Let us stop just saying we love each other; let us really show it by our actions” (1 John 3:18 NLT). We can talk a good act: “I love people.” But do we really love them? Do you really love them? Our love is revealed in how we act toward them. © 2008 Purpose Driven Life. All rights reserved.

Busy but who's not???
Man I've been so busy and I know that my blog is feeling very lonely. LOL I thought once Christmas was over I'd have some down time but I was so wrong. :) I'm working on a new project now and it's very time consuming :( but in the end I know it will be great. I hate that I didn't well forgot to take pictures of the projects I did at Christmas so I could post pictures. Maybe I can get my daughter to send me a picture of what I did for her. :)
Don't forget the Bible reading for this year.
Guess I'd better get busy here it is Sunday and I've been home since Wednesday evening in my PJ's and haven't done a thing except shower put PJ's back on and work on my project. So I'm washing clothes and working on my project today.
